What is Pilates?

 
  • Pilates is a movement system that treats the body as a whole. The integration of mind and body allows for a full body workout in less than 1 hour. 

  • Pilates is a unqiue form of exercise based on the following concepts:  breath, control, concentration, centering, flow, and precision.  

  • Pilates can be performed on a mat or apparatus, such as a reformer, cadillac, tower, chair, or ladder barrel.  

  • Respira Pilates Studio is a fully equipped apparatus-based studio offering one on one training.  

  • Respira Pilates Studio has teamed up with a local private yoga studio to offer semi-private mat classes (max 5 people).
